The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation [EU] 2016/679) has many organizations “gnashing their teeth” trying to become compliant. And if you think this Facebook’s privacy debacle doesn’t have anything to do you, think again: Unlike PCI, whose standards affect their own customers and thus they were very lenient for the first 10 years, the European Union is looking out only for their citizens... meaning the fines are huge and there’s no incentive to play nice - especially for foreign-based (read: US) organizations.

being found negligent.
Join us as we will be reviewing the requirements and discuss what it will take to get to GDPR compliance.
