Doing good helps people do well

At TrustedSec, giving back to the community is what makes us smile.

Giving back to local schools

TrustedSec Sponsors Bedford High School Cybersecurity Program

Through a partnership with Paradigm Cyber Ventures, Bedford High School has instituted only the second high school cybersecurity program in the state of Ohio. This program, which is sponsored by TrustedSec, has a current enrollment of nearly 50 students and is aimed at expanding career pathways for these individuals to pursue in-demand jobs in the field of cybersecurity.

Community is everything to us

Sharing resources and our open-source tools with the security community is just one aspect of how we accomplish our mission to make the world a safer place. Our popular Security Blog and our free webinar series are go-to resources for current security insights, helping uplift the security community by sharing our research.

Our consultants are active members in the community, giving pro-bono presentations, guidance, and career mentorship to schools, local non-profits, and InfoSec organizations. In addition, we offer the Bunker event space in our newly-constructed HQ to Northeast Ohio chapters of InfoSec non-profits such as Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) and (ISC)2 as a meeting space, free of charge.

We are invested in helping fundraise for charities. In 2023, we were proud to raise over $5,000 for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank by sponsoring the Cavs Food Drive, doubling our initial goal. We have also raised funds for Hackers for Charity, The Wounded Warrior Project, and the Rural Technology Fund.
